We’re looking for a Senior Low Voltage Systems Designer to be at the heart of our cutting-edge initiatives and translate project documents into visionary, code-compliant designs, including device layouts, system circuitry, calculations, and detailed drawings for the Low Voltage Systems division. Located at our headquarters in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, this role is set up for tremendous growth and opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Design low voltage systems, including intrusion, access control, CCTV, DAS, LAN, Wi-Fi Networks, and more for commercial and multifamily projects
Act as a resource and provide technical assistance for projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction
Provide efficiency reviews and/or value engineering options for existing designs
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel
Design code-compliant, contract-compliant, and cost-effective systems while reviewing scopes of work, specifications, plans and legal contracts
Requirements:
5-8 years’ experience with Low Voltage Systems design
Exposure to large-scale, multi-family residential construction projects is highly preferred
Proficiency with AutoCAD is required
Revit (BIM) and Bluebeam Revu experience is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
