As a Data Center Logistics Technician, you will perform cycle audits, execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, and document inbound and outbound deliveries. Job Responsibility:
Perform cycle audits, execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, document inbound and outbound deliveries
Comply with security and data management policies
Escalate security or safety incidents
Engage in Task Hazard Analysis (THA) consistently for every task
Conduct rack movement activities, support training on devices and tools, uphold safety standards
Follow protocols on unsafe materials
Ensure plans to maintain and organize space are followed
Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work
Monitor inbound and outbound schedules, escalate deviations
Receive and organize deliveries for supported groups
Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries
Document inbound/outbound packages
Receive, confirm, track, store, dispatch, and deliver material from warehouse to destinations
Communicate with customers, stakeholders, vendors regarding scheduling inbound and outbound deliveries
Apply customs documentation and standards for outbound packages
Ensure complete physical inventory tracking and staging
Maintain focus to complete tickets and assigned Inventory and Asset Management (IAM) tasks
Communicate across Data Center teams
Ensure IAM tasks are completed accurately
Build strong working relationships with customers
Identify, coordinate, manage expectations, and offer alternatives when defining stakeholder solutions
Maintain and steward accurate logical information within inventory management systems
Perform inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity
Perform material movement including shipping/receiving and inventory management
Monitor and prioritize ticketing queues, resolve escalations
Engage supplier to initiate warranty claim
Process failed vendor hardware devices using online/other tools
Perform manual return processes for non-RMA failed parts
Begin to perform manual ordering processes of OEM parts
Follow SLAs related to RMA and non-RMA warranty process
Perform destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following SLAs and Microsoft policies
Ensure DBD serial number matches database
Coordinate with and oversee third-party vendors performing DBD destruction
Act as resource for decommissioning process to ensure customer security
Follow procedures to contribute to plans to develop, build, and run methodologies
Ensure execution according to accepted procedures for consistency, accuracy, and timeliness
Complete required security and data management training
Comply with environmental sustainability and zero waste initiatives
Facilitate training for relevant site-specific procedures and tools
Perform weekly vehicle inspections
Coordinate with other teams on location of equipment and staging
Requirements:
High School Diploma AND 1+ year(s) experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field
OR equivalent experience
Nice to have:
2+ years experience in warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, IT, and/or logistics, operating heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks, chassis lifts) for a large corporation
