We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Logistics Lead to take end-to-end ownership of the movement of goods from our factories to global warehouses. This role sits at the heart of our supply chain, providing leadership through expertise, visibility, and decision-making rather than formal people management. This role is Maternity cover and the contract will last 1 year. You will partner closely with Product Developers, Finance, Data, Sales, 3PL warehouses and vendors to ensure orders move on time, risks are identified early, and processes continually improve.
Job Responsibility:
Own and oversee bulk Purchase Orders (POs) from factory confirmation through delivery, using Excel, Google Sheets and our ERP system
Maintain accurate, real-time logistics trackers, ensuring full visibility of order status for internal stakeholders
Communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders
Actively manage ex-factory dates against the Critical Path, identifying risks early and driving solutions to avoid delays
Manage relationships with freight forwarders, requesting and evaluating quotes and negotiating where appropriate
Review and validate all freight documentation (airway bills, bills of lading, customs paperwork) to ensure accuracy and compliance
Oversee customs clearance preparation, reviewing duty and VAT invoices and resolving discrepancies
Serve as the primary logistics point of contact for factories, freight partners and warehouses
Provide clear, confident updates to internal teams on shipment progress, risks and delivery timelines
Lead weekly logistics updates, offering insight rather than status reporting, and recommending actions where needed
Collaborate closely with Production and Data teams to ensure products launch on time in line with the Sales Calendar
Act as a logistics expert, supporting and guiding more junior team members when required
Oversee the flow of sample, deposit and balance invoices, ensuring smooth coordination with Finance
Ensure supplier and logistics partner payments are accurate and processed on time
Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues in logistics and production workflows and propose improvements
Support the development and refinement of logistics processes, tools and reporting as the business scales
Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain or operations, ideally in a fast-moving or international environment
Strong operational ownership with the ability to manage complex, high-volume orders end to end
Advanced working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
comfortable managing data and building clear trackers
Confident communicator, able to influence across teams and with external partners
Proactive problem-solver with strong commercial awareness around cost, timing and risk
Highly organised, detail-driven and comfortable balancing multiple priorities
Leadership mindset - able to guide, advise and raise standards without direct line management responsibility
What we offer:
Friendly and dynamic working environment with Core Hour working patterns
25 days of holiday a year as standard, with the opportunity to purchase an additional 5 days extra
Flexible Bank Holidays
Work anywhere in the world for up to 30 working days a year
Access to great quality kit with an awesome 25% staff discount
