Using advanced simulation tools, you evaluate loads, stability, and structural behavior across different turbine platforms to support robust product development.
Job Responsibility:
Perform aeroelastic load calculations for wind turbines in accordance with IEC 61400-1
Conduct stability analyses using tools such as Alaska, Bladed, HAWC2 or FAST/OpenFAST
Develop, validate, and optimize simulation models for various turbine platforms
Support product development phases from concept evaluation through prototype design to serial verification
Prepare technical documentation for certification processes and interface with certification bodies
Analyze simulation results, identify design-driving load cases, and provide engineering recommendations
Develop MATLAB scripts and tools to improve simulation workflows and data processing
Requirements:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in aeroelastic simulation of wind turbines or similar functions
Strong knowledge of aeroelastic software such as Alaska, Bladed, HAWC2 or FAST/OpenFAST
Experience in wind turbine product development, including load calculation to IEC 61400-1 and certification
Experience with HawcStab2 or similar stability analysis tools preferred
Understanding of load requirements for components such as blades, tower/foundation, or drivetrain
Advanced MATLAB skills
