We are looking for an experienced and agile Senior Litigation and GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) Paralegal to join our global legal team. As a member of the Employment, Litigation and GRC team, this role will provide world-class support to internal clients across the global organization. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of issues as part of a global legal team. You will support employment and litigation activities and assist with compliance matters, as well as support a diverse range of other legal matters as needed.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee global litigation and dispute docket collaborating with in-house and outside counsel
Lead all aspects of discovery and document production
Manage the legal hold process
Manage responses to subpoenas and garnishments
Manage litigation reporting including the quarterly accruals process
Analyze litigation trends and advise on mitigation
Support all aspects of our compliance hotline reporting including intake, triage, case disposition and reporting
Conduct third party background checks
Manage team matter management process
Manage team objectives and metrics reporting
Conduct legal research on a variety of employment, compliance and regulatory topics
Draft policies and procedures
Manage and support team projects in a variety of areas
Manage outside counsel billing process
Conduct training on litigation holds, compliance hotline process and other areas
High-level team administrative support
Requirements:
Minimum of seven years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house with litigation focus
global experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of Excel
Power BI is a plus
Proficient in legal matter management tools (Onit/Legal Tracker/etcetera), document management and e-discovery
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and balance competing and conflicting priorities
Proven experience working with sensitive and confidential information
Continuous improvement mindset with passion for technology in legal operations
Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI and across time zones on a global team
Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
