A well-established, mid-sized law firm based in midtown Manhattan seeks a senior lending attorney with extensive lender-side expertise to build and lead this practice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate the collection, review, and secure distribution of due diligence materials including financials, property reports, insurance, estoppels, SNDAs, surveys, and organizational documents
  • Facilitate signature routing and ensure proper execution and archival of all legal/closing documents
  • Prepare weekly status updates for senior leadership, highlighting risks, outstanding items, and timeline shifts
  • Support onboarding of newly acquired assets by coordinating with accounting, operations, asset management, and third‑party property managers
  • Ensure transaction files remain organized, complete, and audit‑ready, maintaining data integrity across shared platforms
  • Build and maintain detailed Excel underwriting models for acquisitions and dispositions, including return metrics, cash flows, and scenario analyses
