Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Legal Secretary to support our Private Client team in Guildford. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services, providing high-level secretarial and administrative support to fee earners.

Job Responsibility:

Audio typing and document preparation
File management (opening, closing, storage, retrieval)
Diary management and meeting arrangements
Client liaison in person and via telephone
Supporting junior secretaries and temporary staff
Operating the firm's Case Management System
Maintaining confidentiality and high standards of document presentation
Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative tasks

Requirements:

Substantial legal secretarial experience, including at least 1 year in Private Client
Fast, accurate touch typing
Strong IT skills (intermediate to advanced)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, organised, and able to prioritise effectively
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with Practice Evolve or similar case management systems
Knowledge of legal practice and terminology
