Job Description:

Senior Legal Project Manager. One of the world's leading Law Firms with over 800 lawyers and revenues in excess of $1bn are looking for an accomplished Senior Legal project Manager to join their growing team. Based in the US. The Senior LPM will work with the Legal Project Management team to support lawyers in managing the Firm's business and clients through early-stage matter engagement and budgeting, on-going matter lifecycle support. The successful candidate will work closely with professionals across the Firm's Business Services teams to support the continued development of the Firm's legal operations strategic objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Scoping and developing budgets across multiple practice areas
Manage large-scale matter management and budget monitoring projects
Leveraging a variety of tools to extract, analyze, and present data
Ensure clients receive accurate budgets and progress reports
Identify issues or opportunities, tracking them through to resolution
Partner with Pricing, Financial Planning & Analysis, Client Operations, and other Business Services teams to provide project support
Collaborate with Knowledge Management, Practice Management, and Information Services to support practice innovation initiatives
Train, coach, and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
JD and/or law practice experience preferred but not essential
PMP or Prince 2 Certification appreciated
Previous experience with data analysis and reporting tools
Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

Nice to have:

JD and/or law practice experience
PMP or Prince 2 Certification
