Job Description

We are hiring a commercial counsel with high potential who is excited to grow with the business. You will own a large share of our customer contracting work, trading partner agreements with payers, and key vendor contracts. You will work closely with the Head of Legal and regularly partner with company leadership and teams across the business. You will also scale and improve the processes and tools that let a lean team move quickly while operating comfortably within our risk profile.

Job Responsibility

  • Own customer contracting from first redline through signature
  • Negotiate BAAs as part of customer, payer, and vendor deals
  • Drive payer trading partner agreements and key vendor agreements to close quickly and within our risk profile
  • Improve, expand, and automate existing templates and playbooks
  • Take on new areas over time based on interest and business need

Requirements

  • Bar admitted
  • BigLaw or relevant in house experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to write clearly and explain complex issues in plain language
  • Reliable and keeps stakeholders updated
  • Comfortable with high-volume work and shifting priorities
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create structure from chaos
  • Business acumen to blend legal rigor with strategic persuasion
  • Relentless, resourceful, professional, and acts with integrity
  • Ability to communicate clearly with executives, lawyers, regulators, procurement staff, engineers, etc.
  • Ability to move fast and operate with precision in an environment of clarity, accountability, and urgency
