Provide strategic legal leadership and act as a trusted advisor to senior management, overseeing corporate, commercial, and contentious matters across the Group
Lead and manage complex transactions—including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, financing arrangements, and property deals—while drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key agreements to protect the Company's interests
Direct dispute resolution strategies, assess litigation risks, and coordinate closely with external solicitors on cause papers, case preparation, and court filings
Deliver practical, commercially sound legal guidance that supports business objectives, mitigates risk, and ensures robust regulatory compliance across all operations
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) from a reputable university
Valid practicing certificate
10–12 years of PQE with strong exposure to corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, financing, restructuring, capital markets, and dispute resolution
Proven track record as in-house counsel or a practicing lawyer, preferably within a public listed company
Strong commercial acumen and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
