We are looking for an experienced legal counsel for an approximately 12-month cover while our Head Of Legal is on parental leave. In this role, you will take full ownership of the company’s global legal landscape and play a key role in enabling fast, sustainable growth across a dynamic SaaS and AdTech business. You will be the go-to legal partner for the organisation, driving commercial negotiations, shaping customer and partner agreements, and ensuring compliance across GDPR, data privacy, AI, and evolving global regulations. Beyond managing legal risk, you will actively help the business move faster and smarter by building scalable legal frameworks, improving processes, strengthening IP and contract management, and working closely with teams across multiple international markets.
Job Responsibility:
Own and manage legal matters across the company, acting as SeenThis' legal advisor
Lead negotiation, drafting, and review of both local and international customer agreements, supplier agreements, data processing agreements (DPAs), NDAs and other commercial agreements
Review, draft, and negotiate supplier and partner agreements
Ensure compliance and own the company’s policy framework
Oversee intellectual property matters, including management of the trademark portfolio, brand protection, and IP-related agreements and licensing
Develop and maintain legal templates and internal guidelines
Administer the contract system and ensure it is up to date
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection (GDPR), regulatory frameworks, and other relevant technology and privacy regulations such as IAB Transparency and Consent Framework
Monitor regulatory developments relevant to SaaS, data, and AI, and proactively assess their impact on the business
Coordinate with external legal counsel where needed, managing cost and scope effectively
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant legal experience as an in-house counsel or from a top-tier law firm, preferably within media and/or technology
Strong experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts (e.g. customer, partner and vendor agreements)
Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical business advice
Comfortable working independently and setting up legal processes
Experience working with international stakeholders and cross-border legal issues
Law degree (Swedish law degree or equivalent with relevant Swedish legal experience preferred)
Fluent in English
Swedish language skills are a strong advantage
Strong proficiency in using AI tools as part of your work, with the ability to automate and optimize your workflows
