Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced legal professional to provide solution-oriented contract advisory services supporting Vodafone Business initiatives. This role focuses on drafting and negotiating complex global agreements, managing risk, and ensuring compliance while collaborating closely with commercial, product, and regulatory teams. The role plays a key part in enabling revenue growth, supporting strategic projects, and enhancing contracting processes within an international environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide accurate, timely, and commercially focused legal advice on complex contractual matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate global agreements with multinational organisations
  • Lead end-to-end contracting processes, including non-standard and high-complexity deals
  • Develop and improve contracting processes, acting as a subject matter expert and process owner
  • Create and maintain contract templates and precedent materials
  • Conduct contract risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including regulatory, technology, tax, and sales teams
  • Support product development initiatives by ensuring legal compliance and effective input
  • Provide legal support for strategic projects, acquisitions, and disposals
  • Manage regulatory reporting obligations and support regulatory projects
  • Deliver training and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on contracting processes

Requirements

  • Qualified legal professional with a law degree and completed BAR exam
  • 8+ years of relevant legal experience in the field of commercial and contracting law, or 6+ years of relevant legal experience in the field of commercial, contracting and telecommunications law plus BAR exam, ideally gained within an international business environment
  • Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex contracts
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and multiple priorities
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
  • Effective communicator with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships across functions
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering business-focused legal solutions
