The opportunity: Are you an experienced photographic practitioner with expertise in artists' moving image, who would like to share your insights on practice, and pathways to success, with the next generation of creatives? This is an exciting opportunity to join the Photography Programme at London College of Communication. Teaching on BA (Hons) Photography you will help to develop and deliver a course with a focus on research informed, experimental approaches to contemporary photographic practices. In this role you'll develop your own research and/or scholarship, and work collaboratively with the Programme team to extend the level of subject expertise and critical understanding of experimental photographic practices. Job Responsibility:
Develop and deliver a course with a focus on research informed, experimental approaches to contemporary photographic practices
develop your own research and/or scholarship
work collaboratively with the Programme team to extend the level of subject expertise and critical understanding of experimental photographic practices
Requirements:
Experience as a contemporary photographic practitioner creating artists' moving image
interest in and knowledge of how photographers use computational imaging such as CGI, Photogrammetry and AI
experience of developing and delivering innovative teaching within higher education
specific experience of teaching moving image, including image capture, sound and editing
commitment to embedding the principles of climate, racial and social justice in teaching practice
collaborative skills to work effectively alongside the course and programme team
