We seek to appoint a well-qualified and student-centred senior lecturer to contribute both to the teaching and development of our undergraduate law programmes (0.6 FTE) and to become Director of the Legal Advice Centre (0.4 FTE). You should be a qualified solicitor for the role to supervise students in the Legal Advice Centre. You will line manage a legal assistant and work closely with a senior research fellow on Legal Advice Centre related knowledge exchange programmes. In partnership with the UG and PG Course Leaders, you will also play a key role in planning and running our Annual Law Lecture. Previous speakers have included Baroness Hale and Sir Brian Leveson.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Qualified solicitor
Teaching experience or equivalent
Expertise in company law, contract law, legal ethics, or family law
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to outstanding teaching and excellent student experience
Focus on student success and legal skills development
Enthusiastic, friendly, innovative
Ability to lead the Legal Advice Centre
Ability to develop relationships with pro bono solicitors, charities, and local organisations
