A key focus of this position is the development and leadership of Postgraduate Digital Health curriculum, aimed at producing graduates to shape the future of healthcare, and to contribute to the largest health transformation in Tasmania. The ideal candidate will embrace contemporary online teaching approaches and technologies and be driven, innovative and results oriented. You will assist in developing a positive culture that enables high levels of collaboration and productivity to support the vision of the University and the Department to deliver meaningful impacts for Tasmania.
Job Responsibility:
Make a strong and sustained contribution to the University and Department of Health in achieving its strategic objectives and fulfilling its operational responsibilities
Work across a complex specialised environment actively leading, enabling and developing innovating research programs
Undertake high-quality research and evaluation for the Bluegum Health Transformation team
Undertake scholarly postgraduate coursework teaching of an exemplary quality
Increasingly provide academic leadership and specialist advice, particularly in fostering outstanding research and/or learning and teaching within UTAS and Department of Health
Requirements:
A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field
A strong record in, and continuing commitment to, research that has achieved national and preferably international recognition
A record of good contributions to successful research higher degree supervision and completions
Experience and demonstrated achievement in University-level teaching and learning
A record of contributing effectively to building and maintaining effective and productive links locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, industry (where relevant) and wider community
