We are seeking an academic leader to join us as Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for our BA (Hons) Music Production. Job Responsibility:
Academic leadership, management, and day-to-day operation of the course
Maintenance and enhancement of standards
Responsibility for design, development, and delivery of curriculum
Ensure observance and implementation of University and College policies and procedures
Lead dedicated team of academics and associate lecturers
Ensure delivery of high-quality teaching and learning reflecting diverse practices of music production
Work with Programme Director, technical and college-wide teams to enhance student experience
Drive improvements in student satisfaction and outcomes
Contribute to strategic development of Sound and Music Programme within Screen School
Cultivate industry networks
Stay attuned to emerging technologies
Ensure graduates are equipped to redefine future of creative industries
Requirements:
Academic and experienced practitioner with deep commitment to excellence in Music Production education
Strategic vision to set agenda for course development
Experience leading or participating in academic processes including quality enhancement activities
Highly analytical, able to interrogate student progression and achievement data
Effective manager capable of planning resources and assessment cycles
Practitioner-academic remaining active in field
Experience managing team of academics and lecturers
