Job Description

The Senior Learning and Development Partner is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for leading the design, execution, and enhancement of learning programs to foster professional growth and skill development within the organization. With a focus on aligning learning initiatives with business objectives, this role collaborates with business leads to identify training needs, and crafts engaging and effective training materials. The Senior Learning and Development Partner is responsible for implementing cutting-edge learning methodologies, measuring program outcomes, and continuously improving training effectiveness.

Job Responsibility

  • Contributes to the development of a holistic learning and development strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and long-term vision
  • Collaborates closely with executive leadership, department heads, and HR to understand business needs and align learning initiatives
  • Conducts thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps, learning requirements, and performance improvement opportunities
  • Consults on the design and development of training curricula, programs, and resources that cater to various levels and functions
  • Develops and implements metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, continuously improving learning outcomes
  • Consults on innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance training delivery and engagement
  • Consults on the use data analytics to derive insights, measure the impact of training, and make informed decisions
  • Manages the learning and development budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, communicate learning plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Accountable for incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into learning strategies and programs
  • Responsible for staying updated with industry trends, emerging learning technologies, and best practices to drive innovation

  • Advanced demonstrated experience in conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organisation
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in collaborating with different departments and levels of management to understand training needs and ensure alignment with organisational goals
  • Advanced demonstrated experience of using learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other training technologies
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in using data to evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to improve training programs
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in managing training projects, coordinating logistics, and meeting deadlines
