Job Description

Licensed Cadastral Surveyor – Auckland. Complex projects, senior influence, and balance in New Zealand’s largest market. Auckland is where scale, complexity, and opportunity come together. If you are a highly experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyor or Senior Land Surveyor with a strong land development background, this is an opportunity to play a senior technical role on some of the country’s most significant projects, without being boxed into a traditional Survey Manager position.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and oversee cadastral delivery on complex land development projects
  • Provide technical leadership and support to the wider team, including those working toward LCS registration
  • Front clients, developers, and consultants as a trusted technical advisor
  • Contribute to standards, workflows, and best practice across the business
  • Work with modern tools and systems including 12d, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Leica, Trimble, and digital collaboration platforms

Requirements

  • Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with 10+ years’ New Zealand land development experience
  • Strong technical grounding in cadastral surveying and subdivision delivery
  • Confident dealing directly with clients, councils, and project stakeholders
  • Respected for sound judgement, practical decision making, and mentoring capability
  • Comfortable providing leadership without requiring a formal management title
  • NZ citizen or resident with a full NZ driver’s licence
