Lexicon offers a unique combination of capabilities. Our services include construction management, fabrication, erection, mechanical installation, and plant maintenance for heavy industrial, commercial, and roadway projects, as well as a full spectrum of golf course construction and management services. We are seeking an accomplished Senior/Lead Structural Engineer with extensive experience in large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects within the metals and minerals sector. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and oversight of structural engineering, ensuring robust, safe, and cost-effective solutions for industrial plants such as smelters, refineries, and processing facilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead design and analysis of steel, concrete, and foundation structures for large industrial facilities
  • Oversee and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables
  • Ensure strict compliance with international codes and standards (AISC, ACI, Eurocodes, IS codes)
  • Provide expert technical guidance during procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning
  • Conduct structural integrity assessments, resolving complex site engineering challenges
  • Collaborate with civil, piping, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless project integration
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, establishing best practices in structural engineering
  • Interface directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to align engineering solutions with project goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (master’s preferred)
  • 15+ years’ experience in structural design and engineering, with at least 8 years in EPC projects for metals/mining/heavy industry
  • Proven expertise in reinforced concrete, structural steel, and heavy industrial foundations
  • Proficiency in STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, Tekla Structures, or equivalent software
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
