Job Description:

Senior Lead Solution Architect role in HSBC's GCIO organization, partnering with businesses to build platforms, systems, and products that customers use every day, keeping people's money and data safe, and driving innovation for businesses, customers, and colleagues.

Job Responsibility:

Craft solution proposals and facilitate agreements among diverse stakeholders
Define workable technology solutions by collaborating with different technology teams
Define strategies for enterprise-level foundational platforms
Provide architectural leadership for services and solutions within Insurance service domains
Collaborate with broader HSBC organization to drive Insurance priorities
Develop and maintain architecture and technology roadmaps
Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions/platforms
Provide detailed design guidance to engineering teams

Requirements:

Proficient in crafting clear and concise solution proposals and facilitating agreements among diverse stakeholders
Extensive experience in defining workable technology solutions by collaborating with different technology teams
Expertise in defining strategies for enterprise-level foundational platforms
Strong understanding of how the insurance business operates in multiple distribution models
Provide architectural leadership for services and solutions within Insurance service domains
Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions/platforms utilizing modern technology stacks
Possess sound knowledge of artificial intelligence
Experienced in enterprise environments with comprehensive understanding of traditional and modern processes
In-depth functional and non-functional knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
Understanding of modern development practices, tooling, integration, technology, patterns, and practices
Experienced in leveraging a modern SDLC toolchain including CI/CD pipelines
Familiar with microservice architectures and possess in-depth knowledge of container-based services like Docker and Kubernetes
Competent in modern technology stacks across front-end and back-end
