Job Description:

This role supports both the immediate and future success of the CMSPL product organization by driving strategic excellence and operational efficiency. By combining high-level strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and operational oversight, this position enables the Head of Product Development to dedicate focus to vision, innovation, and critical decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as a central point of contact for the Product organization, managing executive priorities and ensuring alignment across initiatives
  • Drive collaboration among teams within and outside of the product organization
  • Facilitate the successful execution of the organization’s long-term objectives
  • Prepare and attend executive meetings, capturing key decisions and follow-up actions
  • Design and facilitate team offsites, workshops, and learning programs
  • Draft communications, reports, and presentations for executive leadership
  • Act as a sounding board for the Head of Product Development and his leadership team
  • Facilitate workshops, and tracking progress on strategic initiatives
  • Manage special projects assigned by the Head of Product Development, including organizational change efforts, and innovation programs
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged
  • Champion the product organization’s values, vision, and culture
  • Drive initiatives to promote engagement, inclusion, and continuous learning within the team

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice to have:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred, ideally in business, engineering, economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, operations, or management consulting
  • Prior experience in a chief of staff, product leadership, or similar role strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
  • Proactive problem solving that anticipates challenges and leverages resources to resolve issues before they escalate
  • Ability to synthesize information, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, and present actionable insights to senior leaders
  • Familiarity with modern product development processes, agile methodologies, and relevant tools
  • High degree of integrity and confidentiality, handling sensitive information with professionalism
  • Comfortable thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity
