As a Senior Product Operations Manager at SmartRecruiters, you will play a key role in building scalable, efficient, and high-impact product operations. Your work will enable Product Managers, Designers and R&D teams to focus on delivering outstanding products for our customers. You are passionate about how great products are built. In this role, you will evolve ways of working, strengthen customer feedback practices, optimise the product operations technology stack, and support release and launch execution. You will also collaborate with Product Marketing and GTM teams to ensure business alignment and consistent external messaging. Product Operations Managers at SmartRecruiters work with product teams and leadership, balancing domain-level partnership with cross-team and central initiatives that improve how we operate at scale.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve product operations and customer experience. Own launch execution for a small portfolio of key releases, including new products and strategic updates, in close partnership with Product Marketing. Provide stakeholders with clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes, and help drive leadership decision-making and alignment
  • Drive release coordination across R&D in conjunction with a cross-functional GTM release taskforce
  • Partner across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and the wider business to create consistent visibility and alignment on product direction, progress, and priorities across the organisation
  • Partner with Product Analytics to strengthen data-informed decision-making across product teams
  • Identify and apply AI and automation opportunities to improve how product teams work, reduce manual effort, and increase the speed and quality of decision-making
  • Oversee the product operations technology stack. Ensure tools and systems are effective, integrated, and aligned with company strategy. Identify and drive optimisation opportunities with Product and Engineering partners

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of dedicated experience in Product Operations or equivalent product-operating roles within a B2B SaaS environment, complemented by broader experience across product, technology, or business functions
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand, connect, and improve how people, processes, and tools work together across product teams and the wider organisation
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of new ways of working through influence, coaching, and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to navigate uncertainty, create clear paths forward, and balance multiple initiatives in complex environments
  • Hands-on experience using AI and automation to improve operational outcomes and scale how teams work
  • Analytical skills and comfort using data to diagnose problems and drive change
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across all seniority levels
  • A bias toward outcomes, pragmatism, and continuous improvement
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities in complex environments
  • Curiosity and interest in emerging practices, tooling, and technology
What we offer:
  • Remote-friendly culture
  • Competitive salaries
  • Strong internal mobility
