Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Investment Banker / Executive Director for the Equity Capital Markets Industrials Team. This role involves advising leadership, developing complex business strategies, resolving challenging problems, and delivering large-scale solutions within the investment banking functional area.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work as an advisor within Investment Banking functional area to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas within Investment Banking functional area
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and which require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, coordination of highly complex activities, and guidance to others
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise within Investment Banking functional area to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, cross-functional, or companywide
  • Engage with Investment Banking professionals and managers across the company and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Equity Capital Markets experience with a focus on the Industrial Sector
  • Securities industry experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goals
  • Investment banking experience
  • Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Strong credit skills
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Ability to analyze trends in the competitive marketplace and related marketing developments
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
