Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Investment Banker / Executive Director for the Equity Capital Markets Industrials Team. This role involves advising leadership, developing complex business strategies, resolving challenging problems, and delivering large-scale solutions within the investment banking functional area.

Job Responsibility:

Work as an advisor within Investment Banking functional area to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas within Investment Banking functional area
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and which require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, coordination of highly complex activities, and guidance to others
Provide vision, direction, and expertise within Investment Banking functional area to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, cross-functional, or companywide
Engage with Investment Banking professionals and managers across the company and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Requirements:

7+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
Equity Capital Markets experience with a focus on the Industrial Sector
Securities industry experience
Knowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goals
Investment banking experience
Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
Strong credit skills
Strong risk management skills
Ability to analyze trends in the competitive marketplace and related marketing developments
Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date
Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
