Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Fiduciary Specialist.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a team of fiduciary professionals responsible for the administration of trust and other fiduciary accounts
  • Lead the strategy and resolution to administer a book of highly complex fiduciary relationships, including analyzing trust and estate documents, implementing client estate plans, and ensuring client accounts are managed in accordance with sound fiduciary principles and applicable laws
  • Engage clients, advisors, and internal partners to deliver a high-touch client experience within a strong risk management framework
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of internal policies and procedures including, but not limited to, distributions, account maintenance, account opening and closing, Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, annual account reviews, and management of overdrafts
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and control development
  • Provide enterprise-level fiduciary expertise and strategic leadership, oversee the interpretation of highly complex governing instruments, and ensure firm-wide adherence to fiduciary principles and prudent investing standards
  • Serve as an escalation point for team members regarding client-related matters, including the resolution of client complaints and the approval of discretionary distributions
  • Act as an advisor and lead team to achieve business objectives and drive execution
  • participate actively in Wells Fargo Trust's training and mentorship programs
  • Participate in marketing and development initiatives, including building connectivity with centers of influence
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions

Requirements

7+ years of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education

  • Directly oversee asset sales management activities, which includes oversight of the Institutional Business Development Officers, Specialists, Associates and the Sales Intelligence Unit (SIU)
  • Work within, and promote use of internal systems and CRM for all reporting needs, including activities, pipeline, compensation reporting, etc. Develop sales dashboard to track and report key metrics
