Job Description:

Senior Lead Fiduciary Specialist position at Wells Fargo's Banking, Lending, & Trust division, focusing on providing personalized advice and wealth management services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. The role involves overseeing fiduciary professionals, administering trust relationships, and ensuring compliance with fiduciary principles and applicable laws.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee a team of fiduciary professionals responsible for the administration of trust and other fiduciary accounts
  • Administer a book of fiduciary relationships, including analyzing trust and estate documents, implementing client estate plans, and ensuring client accounts are managed in accordance with sound fiduciary principles and applicable law
  • Engage clients, advisors and internal partners to deliver a high-touch client experience within a strong risk management framework
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of internal policies and procedures
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and control development
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on fiduciary administration
  • Serve as an escalation point for team members regarding client-related matters
  • Act as a thought leader and culture carrier for the firm
  • Lead team to achieve business objectives and drive execution
  • Participate actively in Wells Fargo Trust's training and mentorship programs
  • Participate in marketing and development initiatives

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Fiduciary Products experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience and education
  • Extensive experience in administering estates and deceased grantor trusts as an attorney or trust officer
  • Knowledge of complex estate planning strategies including tax strategies
  • Ability to read, interpret and explain will and trust documents, probate laws and tax provisions
  • JD, LLM, CFP or CTFA designations
  • Experience working with UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) clients that have investable assets of $10MM +
