Job Description

You will be a leading member of the team responsible for producing real estate forecasts and research for Australia, as well as presenting Oxford Economics’ view to clients. The role combines forecasting and data analysis, written thought leadership, and client engagement. You’ll also bring an entrepreneurial mindset, partnering with our business development team to bring our real estate research to clients and prospects across the region.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the delivery of credible, consistent, and detailed real estate forecasts for the Australian market across multiple asset classes
  • Effectively communicate Oxford Economics’ Australia real estate outlook through written research, visualisations, analytics, and presentations
  • Produce high-quality written outputs that articulate house views and advance market thinking on Australian real estate
  • Act as a senior representative of the real estate economics service to clients and prospects
  • Collaborate with the global real estate economics and macroeconomics teams to contribute to globally relevant research and insights
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and evolve our real estate economics services

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering real estate research, market analysis, or forecasting
  • Strong understanding of real estate markets and economic drivers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong academic background, with a degree in real estate or economics (or equivalent professional experience)

Nice to have

Commercial sector expertise is desirable (e.g. office)
