Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Executive Director level Senior Lead Data Scientist to join our Strategy, Digital and Innovation team. In this role, you will lead a small team of data scientists and analytic consultants, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver advanced analytic models and forecasting solutions that drive financial strategy and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the design and implementation of complex initiatives and deliverables by utilizing data driven solutions, advanced analytics models, statistical technique and algorithms
Partner and consult with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into data science initiatives
Mentor and guide a small team of data scientists and analytic consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Develop and maintain robust forecasting models using time series analysis, regression, and machine learning techniques
Ensure data quality, model accuracy, and reproducibility through rigorous validation and documentation
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure scalable and secure deployment of analytics solutions
Enforce and establish best practices related to data quality and governance

Requirements:

7+ years of data science experience
5+ years of hands-on programming using SQL
5+ years of Python experience
3+ years of experience in a leadership or mentorship role
Master's degree level or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, Business Analytics, or computer science

Nice to have:

Strong understanding of banking products and services, including Treasury/Transaction Services
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Exposure to MLOps practices and model deployment pipelines
