Job Description:

Senior Lead Control Management Officer position within Technology Risk and Control Management function at Wells Fargo, focusing on control modernization and creating a modern control framework to mitigate technology risks across the organization.

Job Responsibility:

Advise leadership and communicate insights
Lead complex risk strategy and resolution
Design and implement risk mitigation strategies
Drive initiatives around Key Risk Indicators (KRI)
Facilitate decision-making forums
Collaborate and influence stakeholders
Support Technology Risk and Control Measurement & Practices
Lead implementation efforts for control modernization
Create modern and robust control framework to mitigate technology risks

Requirements:

7+ years of Risk Management or Financial Services Industry experience
Ability to manage initiatives involving large technology migration programs at scale
Generative AI knowledge and risk management support experience
Proven leadership and project management skills
Comprehensive understanding of operational risk management and/or operations process management
Understanding of United States (U.S.) banking regulatory requirements
Familiar with various quality assurance techniques, issue verification frameworks
Knowledge and understanding of financial services: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures
Experience working in a matrixed environment
Familiar with modern, automated and data-driven risk and control practices
Ethical integrity and demonstrated ability to identify risks
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders
Ability to drive and lead organizational change, prioritize work, meet deadlines
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office

Nice to have:

Generative AI knowledge and risk management support experience
Familiar with modern, automated and data-driven risk and control practices
