Job Description:

Senior Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager position at Wells Fargo supporting the South-Central Division, Houston market, focused on companies with annual sales revenue up to $100 million. Responsible for developing and growing complex client relationships, structuring loans, and offering comprehensive banking solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive strategic customer selection by targeting companies with annual revenues up to $100 million
  • Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships through relationship management
  • Execute proactive customer engagement strategies to build comprehensive C&I relationships
  • Lead structuring, modification, and renewal of complex cash flow, real estate loans, and industry-specific solutions
  • Review, understand, and offer the full suite of complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle to senior level managers to resolve client issues
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback and recommendations to leadership

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • Proven experience managing commercial banking relationships with a focus on client growth and retention
  • Advanced knowledge of treasury management products, sales, and structuring
  • Strong in-market presence with an established network to support business development efforts
  • Completion of formal credit training program
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience for clients with annual revenue up to $100MM
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnerships
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
