Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Lead Civil Engineer with a proven track record in large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects within the metals and minerals sector. The successful candidate will lead civil engineering execution, providing technical direction and oversight across design, procurement, and construction phases for world-class smelters, refineries, and industrial plants.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide leadership and technical authority for civil/structural engineering across multi-billion-dollar EPC projects
  • Oversee preparation, review, and approval of engineering deliverables including designs, calculations, specifications, and construction documents
  • Drive coordination with multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project goals
  • Manage subcontractors and consultants, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance
  • Serve as primary civil engineering interface with clients and stakeholders
  • Lead resolution of technical issues during construction, installation, and commissioning
  • Ensure the highest standards of HSE, constructability, and quality across all civil works

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 15+ years’ experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 8 years leading EPC projects in the metals/minerals sector
  • Expertise in foundations, concrete and steel structures, heavy industrial earthworks, and geotechnical design
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, Tekla Structures or similar
  • Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
