Currently we are recruiting experts for global technology company focused on advanced process technologies, catalytic solutions, and engineered systems supporting the energy transition and sustainable industrial development. Join new company branch in Cracow for better tomorrow!

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for Procurement in a project, from end-to-end supplier performance and delivery of proprietary equipment (low, medium and high pressure vessels)
  • Drives and support operational and tactical procurement activities - in dedicated categories/projects or cross categories/projects at a local or global level for products and services to meet requirements regarding cost, time, and quality
  • Main contact person towards the Suppliers on global scale, ensures a good collaboration
  • Partner with Category Managers and overall Global Procurement on supplier selection and sourcing strategy
  • Execution of sourcing projects based on category management sourcing strategy
  • Plan procurement activities and drive procure to pay process for RFQ, negotiation, Purchase order placement, follow up and invoice handling, prepare contracts
  • Discuss and negotiate General conditions of purchasing or align on special conditions
  • Drive saving opportunities within project negotiation
  • Immediately register and respond to unforeseen supply failures
  • First line system support on Procurement systems and manage the optimization of supporting purchasing tools
  • Supporting initiatives or projects from Procurement Excellence, working on improvement to more efficient processes

Requirements:

  • Project Procurement experience
  • Knowledge and experience in sourcing proprietary equipment is a must
  • Experience in chemical/refining/engineering/technical industry
  • Have a technical background and basic understanding of supplier market for complex technical categories
  • Experience with cost breakdowns and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in SAP, procurement systems, and advanced Excel/analytics tools
  • Consistently achieving results, displays a can-do attitude
  • Willingness and ability to take on responsibility
  • Act proactively and flexibly in all areas within projects
