Job Description:

Senior Lead Analytics Consultant to join CIB Finance – Data Insights & Analytics team, focusing on maintaining, enhancing, and building new analytical solutions for managing the commercial deposits portfolio and Global Payments and Liquidity function

Job Responsibility:

Lead the enhancement and ongoing support of the commercial deposits reporting platform
Collaborate closely with Deposits Strategy, GPL business, and Finance partners
Translate complex business requirements into clear, technical specifications
Manage and prioritize multiple projects to advance the commercial deposits and GPL analytics platform
Design and build intuitive dashboards and reports
Proactively adjust metrics and reporting content to reflect strategic initiatives and market trends
Oversee project delivery, ensuring requirements are tracked and backlogs are prioritized
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support new business requests and strategic projects
Ensure robust data quality and resiliency in all reporting deliverables
Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners across regions
Provide analytical support to the broader CIB Data Insights & Analytics team
Mentor and guide junior team members, interns, and external contractors
Embrace innovation in reporting, including the use of AI agents and chatbots

Requirements:

7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience
Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases with 7+ years of scripting/coding experience
5+ years of hands-on business intelligence development using Tableau, Power BI, Oracle BI, or Python
At least 3 years of daily Tableau experience
Experience with database tools such as Dremio, TOAD, SQL Server Management Studio, Business Intelligence Development Studio, and Oracle
Prior analytics and reporting experience in deposits, payments, and liquidity products
Background in Corporate and Investment Banking or management consulting
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
Demonstrated success working with diverse stakeholders and senior leaders
Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance productivity
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment
Ownership mentality—comfortable tackling complex problems and driving them to resolution
Adaptability to ambiguous requirements and evolving business needs
Commitment to continuous learning
Ability to influence without authority and build consensus across diverse teams
