Senior Lawyer

• Lead the legal department on high-stakes corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with both local and international regulations
• Oversee and participate in the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex agreements, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and large-scale partnerships
• Advise on corporate governance issues, including shareholder relations, regulatory compliance, and business restructuring
• Provide strategic legal advice on international expansion, foreign investments, and cross-border contracts. Liaise with external legal counsel for multi-jurisdictional legal matters
• Oversee and manage the preparation and execution of litigation strategies, including working closely with external law firms, representing the company in disputes, and ensuring successful resolution of legal issues
• Lead efforts to assess and mitigate legal risks in the company's operations and strategies
• Provide training and guidance to junior lawyers and interns, ensuring continuous development of legal team capabilities
• Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide legal policies and best practices

• 5+ years in corporate, commercial, or litigation law roles with significant exposure to international legal matters
• Master’s degree in Law or equivalent higher qualification
• Proven track record of managing legal teams and providing strategic legal advice to senior executives
• Fluency in Georgian and English is mandatory
• proficiency in Russian is highly desirable
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts, handling corporate governance issues, and managing high-stakes litigation
• Experience with cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign investments
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate legal risks
• Proven ability to mentor junior lawyers and interns, providing guidance and developing legal talent
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced legal research tools, and case management software
