Job Description:

This is a remarkable time for Property Lawyers within the Council, given our steadfast commitment to advancing high-profile regeneration projects and expanding our housing initiatives across the Borough, coupled with our extensive commercial property holdings. As a vital member of our seasoned team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal guidance to both officers and members on a diverse range of property-related matters.

Job Responsibility:

Providing expert legal guidance to officers and members on property-related matters
Overseeing property transactions
Negotiating commercial and residential leases
Managing lease extensions
Providing comprehensive legal advice

Requirements:

Suitably qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX with a current practising certificate
Minimum of 3 years PQE in commercial and residential property law in the UK
Strong communication and influencing skills
