The Senior Laundry Tech will perform and/or oversee the preventive maintenance and repairs of existing equipment as well as consider, plan and execute upgrades and new installations of laundry equipment.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain all laundry equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, including proactive scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs
Responsible for correct use of maintenance request and preventive maintenance system
Coach and mentor other technicians, providing them with knowledge and experience to help enhance their skills
Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workspace
Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use
Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols
Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed
Requirements:
Four years’ experience in laundry equipment repair and maintenance
Highly skilled in electrical and mechanical controls
Strong ability to utilize all aspects of an electrical multi meter
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams
Skilled with using tools required in this trade
Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred
