Job Description

GRAEF is looking for an innovative and creative senior level landscape architect to join our team of intellectually and technically talented colleagues. This position will provide the candidate personal and professional growth as well as have the opportunity to grow the practice of landscape architecture in the Milwaukee office and the other regional offices.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide input on strategy, business development, and technical direction, with a focus on the importance of landscape architecture, urban design and sustainability
  • Grow the practice of landscape architecture in the Milwaukee office and the other regional offices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in landscape architecture
  • Minimum of 8 years of applicable design experience
  • Previous project management experience required
  • Experience with business development activities such as marketing, proposals and client development
  • Professional licensure required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD Civil 3D or Revit, and / or GIS software desired
  • Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members are necessary
  • Experience in mentoring staff
  • Excellence in written communication, quantitative analysis, graphic design, urban design, presenting, and critical thinking skills
