Job Description:

The Senior Kitchen Tech will perform and/or oversee the preventive maintenance and repairs of existing equipment as well as consider, plan and execute upgrades and new installations of kitchen equipment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain all kitchen equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, including proactive scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Responsible for correct use of maintenance request and preventive maintenance system
  • Coach and mentor other technicians, providing them with knowledge and experience to help enhance their skills
  • Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workspace
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use
  • Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols
  • Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed

Requirements:

  • Four years’ experience in kitchen equipment repair and maintenance
  • Highly skilled in electrical and mechanical controls
  • Strong ability to utilize all aspects of an electrical multi meter
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams
  • Skilled with using tools required in this trade
  • Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred
