Job Description:

A WiseTech Senior Key Account Manager is the WTG owner of a number (around 20 to 25) of WTG strategic clients for their product or region. The Senior Key Account Manager serves to deepen the WTG relationship with strategic clients in by increasing their own understanding of the client’s business needs and strategy and by regular focused strategic interactions, ultimately working to grow and retain these strategic customers. You work collaboratively across multi-functional teams both internally and within the client organization to resolve any barriers to the productive use of WiseTech Global Products. Be able to instigate the resolution of issues common to WTG strategic clients to facilitate customer growth. This Senior Key Account Manager should be an expert in their field, has been in a KAM/SKAM role for a number of years and have proven experience directly growing customer accounts and achieving outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Independently conducting customer QBRs, including actively identifying opportunities for revenue growth and works to execute, using the QBR as a key opportunity to drive this growth
  • Use internal tools such as the Customer Insights Portal to identify patterns and trends
  • Independently undertake deep dive investigations to establish and report back on clients’ motivations, strategies and preference
  • Build strong working partnerships with the Service Partners in order to optimize the overall service offering for the client
  • Has strong communication skills and internal influence with both peers and senior stakeholders
  • Using interpersonal, leadership and communication skills by phone, email, MS Teams to proactively engage with clients, gain their trust and establish a regular rapport

Requirements:

  • Has 5+ years experience or more in Key Account Management
  • Previous experience managing large global clients and stakeholders at various levels
  • International freight forwarding or similar Supply Chain/Logistics industry Management experience preferred
  • Software Industry experience desirable
  • BBIT Qualification
  • CCP Qualification

Nice to have:

  • International freight forwarding or similar Supply Chain/Logistics industry Management experience preferred
