Senior Key Account Manager (Strategic Growth) - Johannesburg (Hybrid) - Market-related. About the Company: Grapevine is a leading brand experience and activation agency delivering high-impact campaigns, experiential marketing, and nationwide rollouts across South Africa. Known for creating seamless, strategically driven brand experiences, the business partners with major clients to drive measurable growth. About the Role: An opportunity for a high-calibre Senior Key Account Manager to take ownership of an established, high-income client portfolio. This is a strategic account management role, focused on maintaining and growing Gross Profit, strengthening client relationships, and identifying new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full ownership of key client accounts and portfolio performance
  • Drive account growth strategies and identify upsell opportunities
  • Manage campaigns end-to-end across activations and experiential marketing
  • Oversee national rollouts, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Manage project costings, quotes, and margin control
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, campaign management, operations)
  • Deliver seamless, high-quality client experiences
  • Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and account tracking

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in brand activations, experiential marketing, or events
  • Proven track record managing and growing key accounts
  • Experience with national campaign rollouts
  • Strong commercial acumen with exposure to Gross Profit and margin management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
  • High attention to detail and organisational ability
