Job Description

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our Key Accounts team within the Hotel Solutions group. Our team builds exceptional, strategic, and long-term relationships with the largest and most valuable hotel companies within the Hotel Solutions portfolio. We find ways to solve our clients' many business challenges with a variety of Tripadvisor solutions, thereby supporting our customers and driving revenue for Tripadvisor. We work across multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure we find the right strategy for each of our partners.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing and growing revenue within your territory, focusing on maximizing customer retention, acquiring new clients, and identifying upselling opportunities throughout the entire sales life cycle
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of key customer needs and requirements by creating impactful and strategic account plans
  • Expanding and nurturing relationships with existing customers by uncovering their business needs and consistently proposing tailored solutions that align with their objectives
  • Conducting in-depth product demonstrations and consultatively positioning our hotel solutions, value proposition and benefit for business success
  • Successfully negotiating, renewing existing customers, and closing new business
  • Articulating data insights and metrics to demonstrate return on investment in line with clients' business objectives during QBRs
  • Consistently growing & maintaining a sales opportunity pipeline and effectively forecasting attainment
  • Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets quarterly on revenue & other related KPIs
  • Serving as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Collaborating with other teams in the pursuit of excellent results and flawless execution
  • Networking with senior internal and external personnel in the pursuit of professional development and to further industry knowledge & expertise
  • Traveling as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Key Account Management or Sales (preferably within the Travel Industry or selling to complex organizations)
  • Strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients by having a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to address client concerns promptly
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in day-to-day work
  • Proven ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth within Business Development or Key Account Sales
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills to secure profitable contracts and agreements
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and presentations
  • Ability to analyze market data and client feedback to inform strategy and decision-making autonomously
  • Target driven and proven self-starter with ability to deliver on initiatives without constant supervision
  • Territory and pipeline management experience using a CRM (Salesforce & Tableau)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bi-lingual (Fluent Spanish - English)

  • DTT Deployment Plan (OCPMS and Integrations to OCPMS) + Execution: Partners with Director and the Global DTT team to develop OCPMS deployment plan for CALA properties. Drives engagement of continent subject matter experts during change impact assessments. Partners with the Global DTT team, Global Technology and Global Operations to execute the plan and related deliverables to drive the completion of milestone tasks and overall requirements. Partners closely with the Business Process, Deployment and L+D teams
  • DTT Technology Measurement + Analytics: Directs the day-to-day Technology readiness and Technology adoption activities for OCPMS, including scorecards and appropriate forums. Partners closely with the deployment team to develop reports for key MI leaders on readiness pre-cutover and the progress of adoption and highlighting Technology challenges after cutover (e.g., fatigue, confusion, lack of alignment, etc.)
  • DTT Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Partners with Director and the Global DTT team to develop and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement. Manage and maintain deployment plans and coordinate deliverables through a formal review process while adhering to tight timelines. Executes deployment plans working closely with Global DTT team, Continent teams, and other discipline teams to meet defined success measures. Prepares timely status updates for leaders and senior executives
  • DTT Deployment Plan (OCPMS and Integrations to OCPMS) and Execution: Plans and executes the stakeholder and change impact analysis for on-property associates. Partners with the Director and colleagues from the Global DTT Team to create and execute a comprehensive deployment plan and related deliverables for properties in CALA. Partners closely with the Director and Continent teams to create a deployment strategy for CALA to maximize adoption. Executes the deployment plans working closely with Continent, Global Deployment teams, Global Technology and continent counterparts to meet defined success measures. Develops and distributes required deployment deliverables (e.g., presentations, job aids, communications, etc.).
