Senior Java SpringBoot Engineer

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
• Designing and implementing distributed systems
• Optimizing performance
• Mentoring junior developers

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience and proven track record in leading projects involving Java Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest API's, Drools, Authentication, Authorization, SSO and JBPM task management
• Expertise in BPM concepts, methodologies, and architectural patterns, with a deep understanding of workflow orchestration and process automation
• Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks, with strong object-oriented design skills and architectural principles
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices design principles, with hands-on experience in building scalable and resilient distributed systems
• Strong understanding of async service to service communication using Kafka with hands-on experience in building scalable and resilient distributed systems
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong commitment to quality, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement
