Job Description:

The Senior Java Developer (C12) applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to design and develop advanced software applications, influencing strategic decisions for the organization, with primary responsibilities that include supporting mid-scale project delivery, leading design discussions, troubleshooting system performance, and improving processes.

Job Responsibility:

Accountable for executing and driving mid-size feature application design and development efforts to completion
serving as a development lead on medium-scale projects and supporting the execution of larger efforts
proficient at operating with considerable autonomy and discretion
ability to analyze and troubleshoot coding, application performance and design challenges
capable of research in root cause of development and performance concerns
have a deep understanding of the technical requirements for the solutions being built
participate in design discussions as a Development Lead
communicate progress and mitigate issues/risks
work across teams to optimize processes
review metrics and identify new mechanisms to improve processes
streamline excess processes across architecture, build, delivery, and production environments

Requirements:

5-8 years in a product development/product management environment
strong analytical and quantitative skills
data driven and results-oriented
experience delivering with an agile methodology
experience in affecting large culture change
experience leading infrastructure programs
skilled at working with third party service providers
excellent written and oral communication skills
proficiency in Java, Microservices, Oracle, MongoDB, CI/CD, OpenShift/LSE/Splunk, Microservice Framework, Spring Boot
