Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to drive backend development and integration initiatives within strategic programs. The role requires deep expertise in Java-based enterprise application development, DevOps practices, API architecture, and production support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and a proactive approach to risk and governance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and SpringBoot
  • Architect, implement, and troubleshoot high-performance RESTful APIs
  • Optimize JSON payload structures and improve API performance
  • Implement event-driven and messaging solutions using RabbitMQ/Kafka
  • Develop and manage business workflows using Camunda
  • Write optimized SQL queries and manage database performance tuning
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Monitor application health using ELK stack and ensure code quality with SonarQube
  • Provide production support, perform incident management, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, access management, and risk governance policies
  • Lead backend integrations with internal and external systems
  • Collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, product owners, and business stakeholders
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java development
  • Extensive experience with SpringBoot framework
  • Expertise in RESTful API design, development, and troubleshooting
  • Strong DevOps experience: CI/CD implementation, Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, ELK stack monitoring, SonarQube code quality management
  • Experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
  • Hands-on experience with Camunda BPM
  • Strong SQL and database optimization skills
  • JSON and payload optimization expertise
  • AWS Certification (Associate or higher preferred)
  • Strong backend architecture and API integration capabilities
  • Knowledge of security principles, access controls, and risk governance
  • Experience in production support and incident handling
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration and technical leadership capabilities

Nice to have:

  • Awareness of reporting and analytics platforms
