Senior Java Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain payment gateway APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team
• Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and security
• Work with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables
• Plan, prioritize, and manage development tasks and projects to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual operations and improve team productivity

• 7+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot
• Proficiency with SQL databases, particularly Aurora/MySQL
• Proven track record of designing and developing scalable and secure APIs
• Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with payment gateway integrations and financial technologies
• Experience with Agile management and Scrum master roles
• Experience with data collection and AI for predicting application issues from logs
• Experience with AWS Cloud administration
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Japanese business-level proficiency
