Job Description:

The Digital S/W Engineer Sr Analyst is a seasoned role requiring in-depth knowledge of application programming principles and industry expertise. Responsibilities include design, troubleshooting, and project execution with emphasis on quality and code reviews.

Job Responsibility:

Accountable for executing and driving mid-size feature application design and development efforts to completion
proficient at operating with considerable autonomy and discretion
analyze and troubleshoot coding, application performance and design challenges
research root causes of development and performance concerns
demonstrate an advanced understanding of systems and dependencies
assist with standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
participate in design discussions and play the part of a key decision maker
turn complex application design into a well written application
partner with industry vendors for implementation plans and roadmaps
optimize processes across teams
review metrics and proactively seek improved mechanisms
streamline and/or eliminate excess processes
improve concurrent project delivery
share knowledge in various forums and achieve industry certifications
assess risk with transparency and compliance

Requirements:

5-8 years in a product development/product management environment
strong analytical and quantitative skills
experience delivering with an agile methodology
experience in affecting large culture change
experience leading infrastructure programs
skilled at working with third party service providers
excellent written and oral communication skills
expertise building web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React, and Oracle/PostgreSQL technology stack
expertise in enterprise integrations through RESTful APIs, Kafka messaging etc.
expertise in Elastic Search, NoSQL databases, and caching solutions
expertise in troubleshooting and problem solving
expertise in site reliability engineering
expertise in test driven development
expertise performing code/design reviews and ensuring overall quality and timely delivery of project milestones while leading a team of developers
exposure to cloud infrastructure both on-premise and public cloud
exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
exposure to infrastructure as code tools
experience mentoring junior developers
