Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) within the Enterprise Counterparty Risk Technology (ECRT) Team. ECRT provides software solutions to support Corporate, Line of Business and Enterprise Counterparty Credit Risk teams and works with its business partners in identification, measurement, aggregation and reporting of Counterparty Credit Risk across the firm.

Job Responsibility:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience
7+ years of Core Java experience
7+ years of experience gathering business requirements
6+ years of experience writing Microsoft SQL Server relational database queries, stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
5+ years of capital markets / banking / financial services experience
5+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within Linux and Unix environment
5+ years of experience building and deploying database changes and configurations
5+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
4+ years of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
4+ years of experience with the engineering, design, deployment and architecture of data at rest encryption or tokenization solutions
