Job Description:

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. This role involves technical leadership, project management, team management, hands-on development, and other responsibilities in the context of building and maintaining a strategic platform in the financial domain.

Job Responsibility:

provide technical direction and guidance to a team of developers
oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects
manage and mentor a team of developers
contribute to hands-on development using Java, Java EE, Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture
develop and optimize PL/SQL queries
troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
communicate effectively with business stakeholders
facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team
contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
mentor junior developers
provide technical support to business users

Requirements:

10+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
experience in managing and implementing successful projects
subject matter expert (SME) in at least one area of applications development
ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
demonstrated leadership and project management skills
consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, PL/SQL, microservices (lightspeed, docker, Kubernetes), Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, Unix scripting, Team City, Udeploy, Autosys
experience with Oracle databases
familiarity with IBM MQ and Kafka
expertise with IntelliJ
knowledge of securities finance is a plus
understanding of financial markets, trading, middle office and back office functions
