Job Description:

This particular role is within the FX Technology group, focused on delivering electronic trading software for front office technology clients. Responsibilities include building software to solve challenging front office business problems, working on features and strategic technical direction, and collaborating with front office colleagues globally.

Job Responsibility:

coordinating with stakeholders to deliver work-items
implementing solutions to issues
identifying, estimating, and implementing enhancements
contributing to future technical direction of the product
providing development support for incidents and requests
communicating project progress and promoting achievements.

Requirements:

15+ years of server-side Java development skills
familiarity with SpringBoot, Cloud native technologies, Messaging Middleware (Solace), Low latency programming, No SQL databases, python/groovy scripting
understanding of enterprise application delivery
ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization and locales
experience developing and supporting mission-critical applications
experience designing and developing distributed systems using middleware and database products
knowledge of FX pricing lifecycle
knowledge of regulatory environment in banking industry
understanding of DevOps chain–CI/CD, cloud deployment
proficiency in core Java development (Java17 and beyond)
expertise in Unix (Linux) commands & scripting
database skills–Oracle and NoSQL databases
experience with collaboration tools
strong software engineering skills for low defect rate code.

Nice to have:

knowledge of FX pricing lifecycle
knowledge of regulatory environment in banking industry.
