Senior Java Developer with SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris Focus

• Play a pivotal role in the e-commerce platform project for the After Sales sector with a primary focus on backend development and SAP Commerce Cloud platform services
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect to draft and refine backend implementation concepts, documentation, and technical specifications
• Lead programming efforts using Java, adhering strictly to quality standards, requirements and specifications, while writing unit tests to ensure code robustness
• Take responsibility for debugging, fixing, and optimizing backend services, APIs, and integrations with third-party systems
• You are familiar with microservice architectures, design API interfaces and integrate systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, DAM or CMS
• Participate actively in team discussions for solution design and code reviews, fostering knowledge sharing and quality standards
• Support the worldwide rollout, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the e-commerce platform backend

• University degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline
• Significant hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud backend development and Java programming
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring framework, REST API, SAP Commerce, and related backend technologies, along with experience in database design and integration patterns
• Familiar with Unit-Tests and well experienced with handling microservices
• Experience with CI/CD tools and agile software development practices (e.g., SCRUM)
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated with high initiative, responsible and reliable
• Very good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Excellent team player capable of mentoring junior developers and driving backend development excellence
