Job Description:

The Account Master Central (AMC) team within Institutional Service Group (ISG) is seeking a Senior Java Backend Lead Developer to join our engineering team. The role involves writing large-scale Java programs for batch and real-time processing, working in Unix/Linux environments, and collaborating across multiple technologies and regions.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs
monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
provide user and operational support on applications to business users
utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues and provide evaluation of business processes
recommend and develop security measures
consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues
recommend advanced programming solutions
ensure essential procedures are followed
define operating standards and processes
serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
operate with limited supervision
assess risk when business decisions are made
drive compliance and transparency
manage and report control issues.

Requirements:

15+ years of relevant experience
strong experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
strong experience in managing and implementing successful projects
strong understanding and experience on data modeling concepts and techniques
strong experience in reference data management, client data management
strong experience with database management system (ORACLE)
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
strong experience in JAVA, Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Batch, SOAP/Restful Services
strong experience in SQL (Oracle), PL/SQL programming expertise preferred
strong software design skills
strong experience in application architecture
good experience in micro-service development
strong experience with messaging (e.g., Tibco, Kafka)
expertise in Unix (Linux) commands & scripting
process and tools to produce well-written low defect rate code
experience of collaboration tools (e.g., lightspeed enterprise, bitbucket, etc)
good knowledge & experience on workflow (e.g., JBPM)
good knowledge & experience with information retrieval with search engine (e.g., ElasticSearch).
